Homess 2

Anna and Bertha decided to move from North Carolina to California because they believed a housing voucher had been approved for them in the Fresno area. They flew into Ontario airport to find out the voucher was still in progress, with no set time frame for final approval; therefore, they were now homeless. They found themselves in Chino, splitting time between motel rooms and the Courtyard Area of Isaiah's Rock, a local non-profit.

The Chino Quality of Life team made contact with Anna and Bertha after learning that they had been staying at Isaiah's Rock for a week. The Quality of Life Team worked closely with a variety of public service providers to assist Anna and Bertha with obtaining housing. Anna and Bertha are now happily housed in a shared home in San Jacinto, and are now longer homeless.
