[ARCHIVED] Celebrate 'Go Skateboarding Day' at Chino's Skate Park

Chino Skate Day

This June 21, 2023, Chino’s Ayala Skate Park is the place to be for skateboarding enthusiasts and families alike. The City of Chino’s Community Services Department is proud to host an action-packed Skate Day event from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., joining cities worldwide in celebrating international Go Skateboarding Day, an initiative started in 2004 by the International Association of Skateboard Companies (IASC) to increase skateboarding's global reach and accessibility.

Skate Day at Ayala Skate Park is a free event that invites skateboarders of all skill levels to display and showcase their talents, learn new tricks, and connect with other skating enthusiasts. Attendees can look forward to food, raffles, and an afternoon filled with skateboarding excitement.

Ayala Skate Park, located at 5575 Edison Ave., offers a variety of features, including a street course, flow course, and a cloverleaf with waterfall. The park is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except for the last Wednesday of each month when it opens at 11:00 a.m. following deep cleaning. Please note, safety gear including helmets, knee pads, and elbow pads are mandatory.
