City of Chino Invites Community to Summer Events on City Hall Lawn
The City of Chino is excited to announce a spectacular series of free summer events at Chino City Hall Lawn, located at 13220 Central Avenue. Community members of all ages are invited to partake in an array of movie nights and concerts, encouraging community spirit and promoting family-friendly recreation.
Chino Summer Nights
Movie nights under the stars will begin on Fridays starting June 16. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a lineup of family-friendly films. Each evening will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with engaging activities for families, a variety of food vendors, and information booths, setting the scene before the movies begin at dusk.
This year’s movie lineup includes:
- June 16: DC League of Super Pets
- June 23: Hocus Pocus
- June 30: No movie this week but join us at Ayala Park for Fireworks Spectacular! Details at www.cityofchino.org/fs.
- July 7: Lightyear
- July 14: Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- July 21: Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- July 28: Minions, The Rise of Gru

Chino Concerts on the Lawn
In partnership with the Chino Kiwanis Club, we proudly present the Summer Concerts on the Lawn series. From July 6 through August 3, enjoy a diverse collection of musical performances every Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The concert series will conclude with a special performance at Founders Park (5151 W. Preserve Loop) on August 11.
This year’s music lineup includes:
- July 6: Red Hot Cholo Peppers (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute)
- July 13: Britain's Finest (Beatles Tribute)
- July 20: REMIX (R&B / Funk)
- July 27: Twisted Gypsy (Fleetwood Mac Tribute)
- August 3: Dreaming of You (Selena Tribute)
- August 11: ESCAPE (Journey Tribute) at Founders Park
Concert attendees are encouraged to bring their own chair or blanket. Food will be available from the Kiwanis Club and other local service clubs, with all proceeds supporting community programs and the summer concerts. For additional information, please visit www.cityofchino.org/concerts.
