[ARCHIVED] Chino Days

Chino Days Spotlight

Recognized for hosting large recreational activities and community gatherings throughout the year, the City of Chino is adding another fun, free, and fantastic opportunity to come together and make memories with family and friends. This new two-day event, called Chino Days, commemorates Chino’s history and showcases its vibrant, diverse community with cultural arts, food, and entertainment, as well as demonstrations and music.

“We thought it was time to create an event that celebrates Chino’s mix of cultures and languages, the old and new, its storied dairy and farming history, its bright future, and, most importantly, its people. Chino Days is a party to celebrate us and this amazing, tight-knit community we’ve all created,” said Mayor Eunice Ulloa. “I know you don’t want to miss this party!”

Tasty food from around the world? Check. Live music from great local bands to get you dancing? Check. Vendors selling hand-made goods and unique gifts? Check. Games and entertainment for the little (and not-so-little) ones? Check and check! A chalk art contest to show off your skills? Check. Or just put your lawn chair under the shade of a tree and people-watch while sipping lemonade. This event will have something for everyone!

Join us to celebrate Chino’s agricultural history and cultural diversity on Saturday, March 18 from 12 to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  On Saturday, the Mariachi Divas will perform at 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. On Sunday, the band No Duh will perform sets at 2:45 and 4:00 p.m.
