Master of Public Administration offered in ChinoCalifornia State University, Northridge (CSUN) and the City of Chino announce the offering of a new Master of Public Administration (MPA) cohort in Chino. This new cohort allows students to earn CSUN’s MPA at the Carolyn Owens Community Center in Chino.

Taught by CSUN faculty and public sector or nonprofit professionals, the MPA program develops and enhances management skills, enabling graduates to function more effectively in public organizations.

Program courses focus on developing knowledge about public administration, public budgeting, public policy, program development, and organizational management specific to the public sector.  An exceptional level of student support and curriculum strength leads to a high average on-time graduation rate of 82% (bettering the Urban Institute’s projected national average of 61%).

“Our MPA program’s great value is that it transforms employees into professionals,” said
Dr. Warren Campbell, who teaches in the program. “It also shows the importance and shape of the public administration discipline as a central and constantly evolving component of our broader community.”

CSUN ranks among the nation’s top providers of Master of Public Administration (MPA) degrees and is California’s leading MPA provider.  Since 1985, more than 3,600 graduates have earned their MPA degrees at CSUN and now work in major roles across Southern California and beyond.
The university is hosting two MPA information sessions at the Carolyn Owens Community Center, 13201 Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710:
March 6, from 6-7 p.m., and
May 2, from 6-7 p.m.
