The TYKES Family Literacy Program is a collaborative effort consisting of the City of Chino, the Chino Valley Unified School District, the Chino Valley YMCA, First 5 San Bernardino, and the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. The program provides a multitude of programs and services for children from birth to 5 years of age and their parents including:
- Family Literacy
- Family and Child Development Resource Center
- Case Management
- Early Childhood Library (Books and puzzles.)
- Computer/internet access for children and parents
- School Readiness Activities
- Parent as Teachers
- Child Care Information and Referrals
- State Preschools and After School Day Care Information
- Nutrition and Fitness Education
