SoCalGas Construction Advisory

SoCalGas will be performing various pipeline maintenance and safety tasks, including patrolling, inspecting, testing, repairing and replacing pipelines. This routine maintenance will enhance their systems and ensure reliable delivery of the utility.

The construction will take place over 16 weeks beginning Monday, November 25. Work Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 7:00a.m.-5p.m. 

Construction areas include:
1. Carissa Ave from Lee Ct to Verdugo Ave
2. Verdugo Ave from Carissa Ave to Mountain Ave
3. Lee Ct and Serene Ct

What to expect:
-Lane closures will only be in effect during the work hours and will be marked with traffic cones.
-Alicia Cortez Elementary School hours will be coordinated to allow for pick up and drop off schedules.
-SoCalGas and its contractors' trucks and heavy equipment will be in the area.
-Construction and/or operational noise from equipment and personnel.
-Driveways will remain accessible during construction.
-All trenches will be covered with metal plates by the end of each working day.

You may notice a natural gas odor. To perform this work safely, the operation may require a controlled release of natural gas. If you have concerns, call SoCalGas at 1-800-427-2200, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

60 Swarm

60 swarm logoThe California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin a paving project on State Route 60 (SR 60) on Monday, July 22, 2019 to repair deteriorated pavement slabs from Euclid Avenue in Ontario to the 60/91/215 Junction in Riverside. Caltrans will also begin a bridge project in fall 2019 on SR 60 to replace Pipeline Avenue, Monte Vista Avenue and Benson Avenue bridge structures. The combination of these two projects and two other local interchange projects has been dubbed the “60 Swarm”.
