Notice for Water Customers in North Chino

This message is specific to City of Chino Water Customers between the area of Riverside Drive to the 60 Freeway, Mountain Ave. to Fern Ave.  The purpose of this notice is to advise you of upcoming changes to the City’s drinking water system.  The changes, scheduled to begin on January 1, 2018, may result in slightly reduced water pressure in your neighborhood.

Beginning January 1, the City plans to remove an existing source of water supply. Consequently, the removal of that existing source may cause slightly reduced water pressures in your surrounding area.

Please be assured, despite the possibility of reduced water pressure, the quality of the water you receive meets all State and Federal requirements and is safe.

The City is in the process of evaluating alternatives for restoring any reduction in water system pressure that may occur because of the changes noted above.  To keep you informed, you may receive further notices regarding the City’s water distribution system.

Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the water pressure in your neighborhood, please call 909.334.3444 or send an email to pvicario@cityofchino.org
