Summer Lunch is Making a Come Back

The City of Chino welcomes youth to participate in the Summer Lunch program beginning Monday, July 2, through Friday, August 24. Lunch is free and will be served from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., on a first-come, first-served basis at Monte Vista Park, located at 13196 Monte Vista Avenue and the Community Building, located at 5443 B Street.

Lunches must be consumed on-site and will be served to children 18 and under only. All lunches are provided in accordance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s food nutrition guidelines. Lunch will not be served on Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

The Summer Lunch program is sponsored by the City of Chino and the California Department of Education. In accordance with Federal Law and U.S. Department of Agriculture’s policy, this program is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
