Chino Valley Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ)
The Chino Valley RMDZ is a State of California Department of Resources, Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) designated area that combines recycling with economic development to promote new business, expand existing ones, create jobs, and divert waste from landfills. All commerically-zoned land within the City of Chino is designated as an RMDZ.
The mission of the Chino Valley Recycling Market Development Zone (RMDZ) is to achieve the following:
- Increase the use of recovered materials by businesses already located in the area;
- Increase the recycling of rather than disposal of materials; and
- Attract new business that can use secondary materials in their manufacturing process.
This program provides attractive loans, technical assistance, and free product marketing to businesses that use materials from the waste stream to manufacture their products.
The company must be located in one of the specially designated geographic zones throughout California, such as the Chino Valley RMDZ.
