The Purchasing and Warehouse Division provides a centralized buying service for all departments to ensure the timely purchase of routine maintenance items, operating supplies, and equipment repair parts for City departments. In addition, Purchasing, in conjunction with the Police and Public Works Departments, coordinates the purchase of the City’s heavy equipment and vehicles. This division also oversees the City’s warehouse, which provides a central store for commonly used supplies; i.e. office supplies and forms, fleet maintenance and repair parts, and water distribution maintenance and supply parts.
