Since its inception, the Chino Redevelopment Agency has focused toward improving the physical development and fiscal solvency of the City. In this capacity, the Agency has provided assistance to developers. This assistance includes funds for public improvements, infrastructure, and planning, as well as actual participation in a variety of commercial and housing projects. City of Chino Redevelopment Agency Annual Report Fiscal Year 2006-2007 Five Year - Implementation Plan 2005 - 2009 The goals of the Agency are to: 1. Eliminate blight through new development and/or redevelopment. 2. Pursue projects and programs to prevent the spread of physical or economic blight. 3. Expand the City’s economic base and create new jobs in the community. 4. Focus on economic development as a critical function of redevelopment. 5. Expand the supply of low-and moderate-income housing stock in Chino (coordinated through the City's Community Development Department).
