The Redevelopment Department's primary functions are to improve the physical environment by the rehabilitation and reconstruction of deteriorated properties, and to improve the economic vitality of the community through business attraction, retention and assistance.

The main services the Redevelopment Department provides to the public include:

• Assistance in redeveloping blighted properties.
• Downtown redevelopment.

Economic Development:

• Business counseling.
• Business attraction.
• Business assistance and retention.
• Marketing data regarding vacant land, available industrial buildings and site selection.
