The City of Chino’s team of 249 full-time and 172 part-time employees work in eight departments; Administration; Finance; Police; Human Resources; Community Development; Public Works; Community Services; and Redevelopment. Fire Services are provided through a contract with the Chino Valley Independent Fire District (CVIFD). The Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) provides sewage treatment. In addition to the administrative, safety, and ongoing activities many cities have, Chino provides many services to its citizens not usually seen in a suburban community, such as housing, family counseling, and substance abuse and education.
