Applications are available in the City Clerk’s Office for positions on the Planning and Community Services Commissions. Applications are held until the next vacancy becomes available. Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor. A subcommittee made up of the Mayor and another Council Member, along with the City Manager and Director of the appropriate department conduct interviews and makes a recommendation to the Council.
