Registration Open for City of Chino Summer Camp

It’s not just another summer at the City of Chino’s Summer Camp, it’s an adventure.  The City of Chino is gearing up to give youth a fun, active, and healthy summer filled with great activities and field trips.  Camp is for youth entering 1st-8th grades, and takes place from June 5-August 4, at two locations:  Community Building, 5443 B Street; and Liberty Park, 11860 Telephone Avenue.

Open registration is now underway at three locations:  Carolyn Owens Community Center, Preserve Community Center, and the Neighborhood Activity Center.  Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled.  New this summer is online registration.

“Summer Camp not only gives parents a safe place for their children, it is also a wonderful opportunity for kids to keep their minds and bodies active,” says Silvia Avalos, Community Services Manager.  “Camp has weekly themes and a great line-up of field trips to offer new experiences and fun memories.”

  • Week 6: July 10-14

Splash Kingdom

  • Week 7: July 17-21

Heart of a Champion

L.A. Sparks Game

  • Week 8: July 24-28

California Cultures

Riley’s Farm

  • Week 9: July 31-August 4

Earth, Wind, and Fire

Guasti Regional Park

 

Registration and weekly Camp fees begin at $105 per week and are based on residency; multiple child discounts are available.
